Mr. Dumpling
About Mr. Dumpling
Mr. Dumpling is a small, focused restaurant located in Provo, UT, specializing in well-crafted chicken and beef dumplings. Customers note the tender, soft dumpling skins and flavorful fillings, with generous portion sizes at an affordable price. The menu is limited but includes a variety of sides such as spicy cucumber salad and kimchi, which pair well with the dumplings.
The restaurant provides three distinct sauces, with the house-made chili crunch oil receiving particular praise for its texture and flavor. The casual setting is clean and complemented by attentive, friendly staff who hand-select the music. The use of chopsticks instead of forks adds to the authentic dining experience. While the menu is currently small, some customers mention plans to expand dumpling options in the future.

Wonderful dumpling place. I had their chick dumplings with chili crunch oil sauce and kimchi and spicy cucumber salad. They were all awesome. We will definitely coming back here again.

Rock solid dumplings at an unbeatable price. Ten bucks for a good sized bowl of dumplings. The skin of the dumplings is tender and soft, and the filling has a great texture, with none of that gristle that cheaper dumplings have. The chicken and the beef are both great choices. I also tried all three of their sauces. The first, the Mr. Sauce, was my least favorite of the three. It was good, just didn't quite hit for me. It was savory and sweet, with onion and jalapeƱos in the sauce. The second, chili crunch, was my favorite. The flavorful crunch is made in house and is honestly amazing. You gotta scoop a bunch of the chili crunch onto your dumplings. Makes for an awesome texture and flavor. The third sauce, sesame soy, is also great. It's slightly salty but still somewhat sweet in the way of sesame. Overall an excellent restaurant with a fantastic price for the value.

Surprisingly delicious!. I ordered the beef dumpling and came about 11 in the serving. They are good sized, great flavor, portion for the price and enough filling! The place is small but clean and the staff is friendly. The selection is small, just chicken and beef with various sides. They did tell me they are looking to add more dumpling options. Other than that. Is very good!

Mr. Dumpling filled a dumpling-shaped void in my heart! I have missed getting a small mountain of dumplings and diving in, but I finally got to have that pleasure again tonight! It was delicious! We tried literally ordered one of everything off the menu (lumpia not pictured), and it was super affordable for a date night. I don't know if I could choose a favorite dumpling of the two options offered (beef or chicken) Both were wonderfully savory and the sauces added a nice variety of ways to enjoy them. I loved the chili oil; it was wonderfully smoky and aromatic, with little-to-no spicy burn (not that I would have minded a bit of spice). The sides were bright and had a good mix of tangy, sweet, and sour. I would visit here daily if I lived closer. I don't know if there are plans to expand the menu options, but I can't wait to see what Mr. Dumpling decides to do either way.

Small, unassuming dumpling shop. Dumplings perfectly made. Ample serving size, lots of options for sides. Three sauces but with chili crisp as an option, is there a need for anything else? Spicy cucumber salad goes well. Friendly and helpful staff that also hand picks the music, so that's a plus. Bonus that they don't give you a fork, just chopsticks.
